Anna Maria's work has been exhibited internationally in both private and group exhibitions. In 2017, she received The ‘Artistar Design Prize’ for her necklace ‘Backbone’ and in 2019 she was selected as artist-in-residence at the Icelandic Museum of Design and Art. In addition to her practice, she taught creative jewelry design at the Technical College of Iceland.
